Dear Participants,
as you may know, European Countries are on high alert due to the diffusion of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Considering that our first goal is the safety of our separation scientist community, the Organizing Committee of 44th ISCC and 17th GCxGC is continuously following the most recent updates of the situation worldwide.
Among EU Countries, Italy is now the most affected, and Italian Authorities are taking all the necessary restrictions to contain and prevent the trasmission of the desease.
As of today, and based on the most up-to-date information, there is no specific recommendation from the authorities that would lead us to cancel RIVA 2020, to be held on May 24-29, 2020, in Riva del Garda.
Decisions may evolve with the temporary regulations given by national and international authorities regarding gatherings of people and organization of events in the coming weeks.
We invite you to follow us on LinkedIn and check the ISCC & GCxGC website for real-time updates.
The ISCC & GCxGC Organizing Committee will strictly follow the recommendations of public health authorities such as the World Health Organisation (WHO) and national Ministries. For such a reason, lecturers, course instructors, poster presenters, and, in general, all partecipants, are welcome and encouraged to continue to plan to attend the meeting. Rest assured that we will take all the necessary safety precautions and pay the maximum attention and care to keep all participants at a minimal risk level by providing all the necessary hygiene measures throughout the entire conference.
Please contact us for any type of information you may require. We will provide immediate updates as new information becomes available.
Kind regards
Luigi Mondello
Chairman Riva 2020
